How is it that time of year again??? I’m astounded that we’re half way through August and that it’s time to think about booking your Fall and Christmas sessions. Life has been a little crazy these last few weeks, so I know I’m behind the times with getting these sessions up and running. Thank you to those of you who have reached out and for your patience as I got everything set up!!
This year, we’re doing things a little different again. There will be four locations to choose from - two of which will be indoor locations. With having another full time job on top of my photography business, my weekends are incredibly limited and I don’t want us to be in a pinch if weather looks iffy.
The first will be outdoor sessions located at Lake Meade - there’s a gorgeous willow tree and a dock with a lake view. These will be held September 17th and 18th and October 1st and 2nd. The cost for these mini sessions will be the same as last year - $195 for a 20 minute session and 5 digital images. Additional images will be available for purchase. (6% sales tax does apply to all sessions) If it does rain, we will still continue with sessions at this location - there’s an adorable little sunroom with some great couches that we’ll use in a pinch if we have to!
The second option is a spot I’ve wanted to shoot at for a really long time and decided this year to bite the bullet and get it done! We’ll be using the greenhouse at Historic Shady Lane - these sessions will be indoor, inside of the greenhouse building. Historic Shady Lane describes their greenhouse as “glass panes from front to back, original iron framework & herringbone tile”. The only day available for these sessions is November 5th. These sessions will be a little more than last years sessions to balance out the cost of renting the property for the day. Sessions will be 225 - but to even it out, you’ll receive 10 digital images instead of 5.
The last option will be indoor sessions at a studio in New Cumberland. Source the Space is located in New Cumberland and is an old building with lots of big windows and gorgeous natural light. These sessions will be more “lifestyle” in nature and will include at least one section of Christmas decor. You can view the venue’s website here or the inspiration board for these sessions here to give you a better idea of what you can expect. The date for these sessions is November 19th. These sessions will also be a little more than last years sessions to balance out the cost of renting the property for the day. Sessions will be 225 - but to even it out, you’ll receive 10 digital images instead of 5.
Last but not least, as usual, because they’re always my favorite, there will be one weekend of Downtown Mini Sessions on October 22nd and October 23rd. If you’re not familiar with those sessions, click here.
Don’t see an option you love? Let’s book one somewhere else!!! This year, I’m willing to shoot several weeknights in October (between 5 and 6:50) at a location of your choice. Here’s the catch. You must book another family before or after your session - so chat it up with your friends, neighbors or family!! If you’re able to book a session back to back, the cost of mini’s will still remain $195 per family - including 5 digital images. If you are unable to find another family, the cost of the mini session will be $250 and include 5 digital images.
